Spam Spam Spam Spam…

Do you ever get the sudden, uncontrollable urge to play TEXAS HOLDEM POKER 24 HOURS A DAY ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!!! YOU COULD WIN…

Oh, excuse me sorry, all these offers of…a card game that may contain the name of one of the bottom 50 states in the USA, or more correctly, a site which offers a poorly implemented version of this game has been doing the rounds of my little portal of something. I’m actually quite impressed, this site has been up (in this location) for less than around two weeks, and only a few people so far have even visited it, yet some junkyard site hellbent on promoting itself has taken it upon itself to permeate strange sentiments covering anything and everything from relationships to politics throughout the comments section.

Spam seems to be an ingrown part of the internet world of internet now, the relative costs of creating an add on the internet blow away all other forms of media as does the target audience, but this in itself is a bad thing. For example, almost all spam seems to come from dodgy companies in the US, usually selling either pharmaceuticals or porn, or a combination of both. Even if I wanted the various goods on offer which guarantee that I’ll grow a cock two miles long and perhaps with 3 or 4 heads, (which would be kinda useful to help my typing I guess), it’s only available to gullible fools in the US, but because there is no way to get back to the spammers, they will never know and don’t care.

Err, that was a bit of a tangent wasn’t it? Well, forgive me, it’s very late and really, the moral of the story is that I was comment spammed, badly.

What experience and history teach us is this - that people and governments have never learned anything from history, or acted upon any lessons they might have drawn from it. by texas holdem

You might want to enable the anti-spam plugin I just uploaded, as well as checking out the anti-spam stuff built into WordPress (which can be accessed from the Options>Discussion section in Admin).

Somehow I knew this would happen.. I’m just trying to clamp down on this business now. Hopefully my art director will conference with me soon and we can do something about the rather strange choice of colouring too…
